chipmunks! gerbils!
they're lost at sea, or perhaps travelling!
it's disturbing in a sense... in another sense it's just cute... and yet, it could be about adventure, going new places, the discovery of something new, new lands, new opportunities!!!!!......

or... i could be rodents in kitchenwares...and yet...
they have a flag, and a scroll (map perhaps)....
what ARE those critters DOING!!!!!??????

i can't get over it. i think this could be a great children's book... as it is, it remains for me an "artistic enigma".... (i know... i'm sorry about the pun, i couldn't help myself...)
