Description
A portrait of a fantasy warrior named Arkantos, who was created by my friend Nate. The image is based upon Nate's description: "His name is Arkantos; he stands at about 6 foot 4 and is heavily muscled from head to foot. He has short dark hair and one lock of longer white hair in front, piercing blue eyes, and a crooked grin. He is clean-shaven with a strong jaw line and angry bushy eyebrows. He is garbed in adorned leather armor with the crest of a phoenix on his chest plate. At his waist hangs a variety of weapons, including but not limited to a battle mace, a long sword, and two daggers. He has a long bow and a quiver of arrows slung over his shoulders. He has a golden amulet on his left bicep, in the form of two snakes coiled about each other and swallowing each other’s tails. The eyes of one of one of the serpents are rubies, and of the other are emeralds. He has throwing knives sheathed in both wristbands, both of which are made of twisted leather straps infused with silver. Upon occasion he also dons a long black cape with a hood. Around his neck hangs an amulet, a deep lilac colored gem in the form of a sword set in a soft silvery lustrous metal, which glows of its own accord in the dark. His voice is deep and resonant and he is feared and respected by man and beast alike."

ooo i think you have quite faithfully translated your friend's description into picture.
just that i feel his grin is a lil too...erm cheeky? and then the shape of his feet not masculine enough.
but i love the way you use lighting!

This is a pretty impressive piece - - excellent work on the perspective, the lighting and the warm tones from the hearth! [+10] to compensate for not checking on your work before!
