Description
This painting was inspired by the title of a book by Douglas Adams: Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul. I haven't read the book yet (I was sorely tempted) because illustrating the book was not the point. The title in itself captured my imagination and I just had to create an image based on it. Hopefully, fans of Adams can see a hint of "homage to the master" in it, with the tea and space combination. And if you look closely there may be a few other things as well. Don't Panic!

PS: had a look at the large version, now I see 11
maybe it would make a little more sense if the tea would float into (or even better, float OVER) the last cup of tea - but again, just my opinion
